1. Introduction

Rosary Lock ("the App") is operated by Luki Centuri. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Your name (entered during onboarding)
  • Your age range, sex, and quiz responses (goals, struggles, prayer frequency, Mass attendance, etc.)
  • Your prayer lock schedule and preferences
  • Your signature image (for the consecration screen)

Information generated by your use:

  • Prayer completion records (prayer name, date, time, duration)
  • Soul check and mood check values
  • Streak and prayer frequency data
  • Emergency unlock usage

Information we do NOT collect:

  • We do NOT know which specific apps you lock. Apple's Screen Time API uses opaque application tokens that do not reveal app names or identifiers to us.
  • We do NOT collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing history.
  • We do NOT collect your Apple ID, passwords, or payment information (all payments are handled by Apple).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To personalize your prayer experience (selecting prayers based on your goals and struggles)
  • To track your prayer streak and spiritual growth metrics
  • To sync your data across your devices (via Apple's iCloud/CloudKit)
  • To improve the App (anonymized, aggregated usage analytics only)

4. Data Storage and Sync

  • All personal data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
  • If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. We do not operate our own servers for user data.
  • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Services

Superwall (Subscription Management):

  • We use Superwall to manage subscriptions and paywall presentation.
  • Superwall may receive a pseudonymous user identifier (UUID, not your email or name) and subscription status.

Analytics (if applicable):

  • We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as TelemetryDeck) that do not track individual users or use cookies.
  • We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any advertising trackers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only:

  • With Apple, as required for App Store subscriptions and iCloud sync
  • With Superwall, as described above, for subscription management
  • If required by law or legal process

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

You can:

  • Delete all your data by deleting the App from your device
  • Disable iCloud sync in your device settings to keep data local only
  • Request information about your data by contacting us at drybutcool@gmail.com
  • Request deletion of any cloud-synced data by contacting us

9. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the App. If you delete the App, local data is deleted. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.

10. Security

We rely on Apple's built-in security infrastructure (device encryption, iCloud encryption, App Transport Security) to protect your data. We do not operate our own servers or databases.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
