1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Rosary Lock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Rosary Lock is a Catholic prayer habit application that temporarily restricts access to selected apps on your device until you complete a prayer. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API to manage app restrictions on your device.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Account and Subscription

  • The App offers subscription-based access ("Rosary Lock Pro") with pricing displayed in the App.
  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. All billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed through your Apple ID account settings.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple.

5. App Blocking Functionality

  • The App uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls framework) to restrict access to apps you choose to lock.
  • You are solely responsible for selecting which apps to lock and configuring your prayer lock schedule.
  • The App provides an "Emergency Unlock" feature for situations where you need immediate access to your locked apps.
  • We are not responsible for any consequences arising from being unable to access locked apps, including but not limited to missed communications, emergencies, or lost opportunities.
  • The App does not and cannot lock essential system functions, phone calls, or emergency services.

6. Prayer Content

  • The App includes Catholic prayers, Scripture passages, and liturgical content sourced from traditional Catholic texts and public domain materials.
  • Prayer content is provided for spiritual and devotional purposes only.
  • We do not claim to represent the official position of the Catholic Church or any diocese.

7. User Data

  • Your prayer history, mood data, and quiz responses are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit).
  • We do not have access to which specific apps you lock — Apple's Screen Time API uses opaque tokens that do not reveal app identities to us.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of Rosary Lock are the property of Luki Centuri. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that the App will be error-free, or that app blocking will function perfectly in all scenarios.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luki Centuri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Luki Centuri operates.
